2025 Blue Gala Features Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe

We are happy to announce the program for our annual Blue Gala, taking place on Saturday, May 3. The event will bring together elected officials, candidates, volunteers, and community members for an evening of celebration, recognition, and action ahead of a crucial election season.

The 2025 Blue Gala will feature a keynote address from Andrew McCabe, former Deputy Director of the FBI, New York Times bestselling author of The Threat, and current CNN senior law enforcement analyst. McCabe brings unmatched insight into national security, democratic institutions, and the challenges ahead.

The program will also include a moderated Q&A conversation with our Keynote Panelists, two prominent political voices:

• Joe Walsh, former Republican Congressman and nationally syndicated conservative radio host turned outspoken Trump critic, and

• A.B. Stoddard, respected political journalist, featured in The Bulwark, and commentator.

The Blue Gala will host a straw poll for Democratic candidates in two statewide races, with each candidate providing brief remarks:

• Attorney General: Jay Jones and Shannon Taylor

• Lieutenant Governor: Alex Bastani, Dr. Babur Lateef, Aaron Rouse, Victor Salgado, and Levar Stoney

In addition, Congressman Suhas Subramanyam will present the 2nd Annual Representative Jennifer Wexton Public Service Award, honoring a standout Loudoun volunteer who reflects Congresswoman Wexton’s values and commitment to public service.
