Dulles Area Dem Event a Rousing Success
Last week, Democrats and Independents from across Fairfax, Loudoun, and Frederick counties came together in order to celebrate the hard work of Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton and to support her in her reelection bid. Attendees enjoyed wine, music, and good company in Western Loudoun’s countryside. As the sun set over the vineyard’s hills, the slate of speakers—ranging from Joanne Collins and Lissa Savaglio of the Dulles Area Dems to elected representatives like Commonwealth Attorney Buta Biberaj, School Board Member Atoosa Reaser, and State Senator Jennifer Boysko—discussed their recent accomplishments and highlighted their strategies to support our candidates in the upcoming elections.
The event concluded with, first, an inspiring speech by Delegate Eileen Filler-Corn, imploring everyone to action, and then a talk by the Congresswoman herself. Afterwards, attendees stayed past sunset, taking in the comradery and good cheer of their fellow Democrats.
