The Governance Committee ensures the stability, integrity, and compliance of LCDC by maintaining clear and effective rules. Our work supports the long-term success of the organization by:

• Developing & Maintaining Rules – We create and update governing documents to ensure LCDC operates smoothly and efficiently.

• Providing Guidance – We offer LCDC members a resource for governance-related questions and concerns.

• Ensuring Compliance – We monitor LCDC’s rules to align with those of the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Party of Virginia, and all applicable laws and regulations.
